Hitman Joe (Nicolas Cage) goes to Bangkok on an assignment to kill four people. He hires pickpocket Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm) as his assistant and meets a beautiful deaf-mute girl along the way.
Joe is given the contract by Bangkok gangsters who communicate with Joe through Kong and a dancer who becomes romantically involved with Kong.
Joe breaks his own rule of not getting involved with people on his missions and takes Kong under his wing because he sees Kong as a younger version of himself. Kong regularly comments on, and asks about Joe’s victims being bad people; this awakens Joe’s conscience. Joe takes out three ‘bad men’ who are, as Joe says to Kong, “bad for somebody”. In the third killing, Kong assists Joe and the kill does not go as planned, with the target nearly getting away before Joe catches him and shoots him after a chase in front of many shocked onlookers.
His fourth target is a politician and therefore a difficult target, resulting in Joe demanding more money. The gangsters intend to kill Joe to avoid the murder being traced back to them. As Joe sets off to the location of the final kill, the gangsters kidnap Kong and the dancer girl and use them to find Joe’s safe house. The target politician is beloved by the people, including Kong. As a result, Joe hesitates when he is about to shoot him, which results in him being spotted by the police who fire at him, leaving the assassination attempt a failure.

After Chev Chelios, a hit man, completed a job, he wakes up hallucinating, finding himself extremely uncomfortable. Chev soon realizes that the poison can only be slowed by his own adrenaline. With what little time Chev has left alive, he plans to get his revenge on the people who injected him with the poison. Blood Diamond is an Academy Award-nominated 2006 adventure/drama/thriller film. It was co-produced and directed by Edward Zwick. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Connelly and Djimon Hounsou. The title refers to blood diamonds, which are diamonds mined in war zones and sold to finance the conflicts. On January 23, 2007, it was nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Best Supporting Actor (Djimon Hounsou).
Set in the Sierra Leone Civil War in 1999, the film shows a country torn apart by the struggle between government soldiers and rebel forces.[1] The film portrays many of the atrocities including rebels cutting off people’s hands to stop them from voting in upcoming elections.
The film begins with the capture of Solomon Vandy (Djimon Hounsou), a fisherman, by the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) rebels. Separated from his family, Solomon is enslaved to work in the diamond fields under the command of Captain Poison (David Harewood). The RUF use the diamonds to fund their war effort often trading them directly for arms. While working in the RUF diamond fields as a forced laborer, Solomon finds a large diamond of rare pink colouring. Moments before government troops launch an attack, Captain Poison sees Solomon hiding the diamond. Captain Poison is injured in the attack before he can get the stone, and both he and Solomon are taken to prison.
Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio), a white mercenary from Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), trades arms for diamonds with a RUF commander. He was imprisoned when smuggling the diamonds into neighboring Liberia. His smuggling-beneficary was a South African mercenary named Colonel Coetzee (Arnold Vosloo), who is in turn employed by South African diamond company executive Van De Kaap (Marius Weyers). Coetzee is Archer’s former commander in 32 Battalion, the most decorated unit of the South African Border War made up of Angolan and Rhodesian soldiers and white South African officers. Archer is desperate for a way to repay Colonel Coetzee for the diamonds he lost when he was thrown in jail. While in prison, he overhears Captain Poison ranting to Solomon about the discovery of the large diamond and makes plans to hunt down the stone. He arranges for Solomon’s release from prison and offers to help him find his family in exchange for the diamond.

Sean Archer is a government agent who for six years has been trying to apprehend terrorist, Caster Troy, who tried to kill him but ended up killing Archer's son instead. When Archer corners Troy, Troy tells Archer that he has planted a bomb that will go off, unless he lets him go but Archer thinks that Troy is bluffing so a fight erupts that leaves Troy comatose. But later when they go through some of his brother, Pollux's things, they discover that Troy was telling the truth. All what they need now is to find out where it is and the only person who knows is Pollux. And the only person that he will talk to about it, is his brother, Caster but unfortunately he is a vegetable. A government official then suggests to Archer that he assume Caster's identity and ask Pollux about the bomb. So she brings him to a doctor who has perfected a method wherein the face of one individual is removed from him and placed on another. Archer agrees. The operation is a success so Archer as Troy goes to the prison where Pollux is being held and successfully gets him to tell him where the bomb is. Meanwhile, Troy who was believed to be comatose awakens and forces the doctor who operated on Archer to place Archer's face on him. He then goes to the prison as Archer and taunts Archer by telling him that he has destroyed all documentation of the operation and eliminated everyone who knew about it. He then takes his brother out and leaves Archer in prison. But Archer somehow manages to escape and is now trying to find someone who will believe and help him, while Troy is plotting something. xXx: State Of The Union, released as xXx: The Next Level outside of the United States and Canada, is a 2005 action/adventure film, directed by Lee Tamahori. It is a sequel to the 2002 film xXx (pronounced “triple x”).
Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen, the lead actor and director of the original had signed onto this film before xXx had opened, but both dropped out. Cohen remained an executive producer.
Two different scripts were made for this film, and the one written by Simon Kinberg was selected. The other script featured a radically different plot, possibly serving as the basis for another sequel. As State of the Union underperformed at the box office, and was trashed by critics (the first installment’s reception was mixed), it is uncertain whether any new installments will ever be made.
After the original xXx superspy Xander Cage (played by Vin Diesel) is reportedly killed in Bora Bora (by Lt.Col Cobb’s strike team which can be seen in the Director’s Cut release), imprisoned former US Navy SEAL Darius Stone (played by Ice Cube) is selected by Agent Augustus Gibbons (played by Samuel L. Jackson) to be the next xXx. Gibbons and his new agent travel to Washington D.C., where they track a splinter faction of the U.S. military that attempts to overthrow the U.S. government and assassinate the President, led by Secretary of Defense and former 4-Star General George Deckert, Stone’s former commanding officer (played by Willem Dafoe) whom he once led a mutiny against.

xXx, pronounced “Triple X”, is a 2002 action movie starring Vin Diesel. xXx was marketed as a James Bond style film for the new millennium and featured similar gadgetry, international schemes and intrigues, villain-sponsored take-over-the-world schemes backed up by doomsday devices, a female co-star/love interest, and elaborate stunts (as Roger Ebert put it, “Why blow up two cars when you can blow up twenty?”).
xXx was written by Rich Wilkes, directed by Rob Cohen (who also directed Diesel in 2001’s The Fast and the Furious), and produced by Neal H. Moritz for Revolution Studios. Stuntman Harry L. O’Connor was killed in an accident during filming. The novelization for the movie was written by Mel Odom.

A mixed assault force of Delta operators, Army Rangers, and Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) under the command of Maj. Gen. William Garrison was dropped by helicopters of the US Army’s Special Operations Air Regiment (SOAR) deep into the capital city of Mogadishu’s Bakaara Market, a stronghold of local warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid to capture two of his senior lieutenants, Omar Salad and Abdi Hasan Awale. The raid by the Delta operators was successful and the wanted persons were captured and taken into American custody. However, when Somali militia armed with RPGs downed two Black Hawk helicopters, a 30 minute mission became a pitched battle between the American forces and Somali militia lasting almost 15 hours.

A young Mexican man named Santiago Munez (Kuno Becker) dreams of making it big in the world of football. When he crosses the United States–Mexico border illegally as a child with his family, he drops his football and leaves it behind, but brings his spirit and continues to play for a local team as a young man. He ends up living in a barrio in Los Angeles working a day job with his father doing landscaping work, and a night job as a bus boy in a Chinese restaurant. He wanted a promotion to waiter but was not allowed because he was not Chinese.
His only relief comes in the form of his local soccer league, of which he is the star. When Glen Foy, a former scout for Newcastle United, sees Santiago’s natural talent, he offers a try out for the team if only Santiago can make it to England. While that would fulfill his dreams, his father only wants a new truck to start his very own business. Both of their dreams come true, but at a cost. Santiago’s father gets his truck, but steals Santiago’s saving to help pay for it. Feeling sorry for him, Santiago’s grandmother buys him a ticket to London, by way of Mexico City. Upon arriving, Santiago calls Glen, who puts him up for the time being.

"Prequel" to the first From Dusk Till Dawn is set in Mexico in the early 1900's which begins with the escape of Johnny Madrid, a dangerous local outlaw, from the gallows who then kidnaps his hangman's beautiful daughter, Esmeralda, with a little help from Reece, a female outlaw from the U.S. With the hangman and a local posse on their trail, Johnny meets with his gang who all rob a stagecoach which contains American author Ambrose Bierce along with newlywed couple John and Mary Newlie. As night falls, all parties coincidently seek shelter in an isolated inn/whorehouse which is run by vampires led by the high priestess Quixtla who targets Esmeralda. Esmeralda is revealed to be the half-human, half-vampire princess Santanico Pandemonium, whom the vampires want as their heir in which all the humans must join forces if they are to survive the night from the vicious blood-suckers. World heavyweight boxing champion Rocky Balboa returns home to Philadelphia to a hero's welcome after defeating Ivan Drago in a brutal match. Adrain later surprised Rocky with a dog from the pet shop that Rocky had befriended. Adrian's brother Paulie, who works for a meat packing company, is thrilled that someone has become interested in Adrian, and Adrian spends Thanksgiving with Rocky. Later, they go to Rocky's apartment, where Adrian explains that she has never been in a man's apartment before. Rocky sets her mind at ease, and they become lovers. Current world heavyweight boxing champion Apollo Creed comes up with the idea of giving an unknown a shot at the title. Apollo checks out the Philadelphia boxing scene, and chooses Rocky. Fight promoter Jergens gets things in gear, and Rocky starts training with Mickey.
